Terms & Conditions.

The general terms that apply when using KIVOZA's website and engaging KIVOZA for digital services.

Last updated: 16 September 2026

1. About these terms

These terms explain the general basis on which KIVOZA provides digital services. A specific project may also be governed by a separate written proposal, quotation, statement of work or agreement. Where a project agreement contains specific terms, those terms will apply to that project.

2. KIVOZA's services

KIVOZA provides services including website design and development, content creation, video editing and digital solutions. The exact scope, deliverables, timescales and price of a project will depend on what is agreed for that project.

3. Quotes and project agreements

A quote or proposal is based on the requirements known at the time it is prepared. Work begins once the relevant project terms, scope and payment arrangements have been agreed.

Requests outside the agreed scope may require an additional quote or adjustment to the project timeline.

4. Client responsibilities

Clients are responsible for providing accurate information, content, branding materials, approvals, access and feedback reasonably required to complete the project.

Delays in receiving required materials, decisions or feedback may affect the agreed timeline.

5. Revisions and changes

The number and type of revisions included in a project will depend on the agreed scope. Significant changes to the original brief or additional functionality may be treated as additional work and priced separately.

6. Payments

Any deposit, instalment schedule, final payment or other payment requirement will be stated in the relevant quote, proposal or project agreement.

Where payment is due for completed work, KIVOZA may pause delivery or launch until the agreed payment has been received, subject to the terms of the specific agreement and applicable law.

7. Ownership and third-party materials

Unless otherwise agreed, the client receives the agreed rights to the final project deliverables once all amounts due for those deliverables have been paid.

Third-party software, fonts, stock media, plugins, hosting, domains, APIs and other services may be subject to their own licences and terms. KIVOZA cannot transfer rights that it does not own.

8. Website hosting, domains and third-party services

Where KIVOZA assists with hosting, domains or third-party services, those services may be provided by external companies and may have separate fees, terms, availability and renewal requirements. The relevant provider's terms may also apply.

9. Client content and permissions

The client is responsible for ensuring that content, images, logos, text, video and other materials supplied to KIVOZA may legally be used for the project. The client should have the necessary permissions or licences for materials they provide.

10. Portfolio use

Unless a client asks otherwise before publication, KIVOZA may wish to display completed work in its portfolio, website or social media to demonstrate its services. Any confidentiality or non-disclosure arrangement agreed for a project will take priority.

11. Service standards and liability

KIVOZA will provide services with reasonable care and skill. Nothing in these terms is intended to remove or restrict any consumer rights or other legal rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

KIVOZA is not responsible for losses caused by circumstances outside its reasonable control, including failures of third-party platforms, hosting providers, domain registrars, payment providers or other external services, subject to applicable law.

12. Cancellation and termination

Cancellation and termination arrangements will depend on the project agreement and the circumstances. Any consumer cancellation rights that apply by law will not be removed by these terms.

If a project is cancelled, the parties will settle any properly due amounts for work already completed or committed, subject to the agreed terms and applicable consumer law.

13. Complaints

If something goes wrong with a project, please contact KIVOZA at so the issue can be discussed and, where appropriate, corrected.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

Note: Project-specific agreements should be used for important commercial details such as exact scope, price, payment schedule, ownership, maintenance, hosting and cancellation arrangements.
